Another Astro Travelling Adventure

Are you there, Jennifer? Yes, I'm here. You've been very quiet so I was resting. You've been working a lot. It's been busy and I've been rather preoccupied. Trying to divine the future? Yes, sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about all of the moving pieces on the global chessboard. It's a lot and sometimes there are missing pieces, as well. So after the dream about your late father in law, you had another out of body experience, didn't you? Yes, and again I think many months had elapsed and it was so long ago now that... Graham, I'm not sure the timeline or sequence of events is as important as the story itself. You have a point and as I continue to write I'm sure it will be like one of those movies where the story weaves back and forth in time. Like Sliding Doors? Perhaps, but not with only two possible outcomes. More like About Time, where my wishful thinking would give me the ability to go back in time and make subtle but impactful changes. So you found yourself floating above an old neighborhood?

Yes, I should describe what that's like. The experience is often similar. I realize that I'm floating above the ground, or my consciousness is, and the moment I realize this, I gain speed. It's a whooshing feeling, if that's a word. It's not something that I can control. It feels like I'm suddenly flying at great speed and I gain altitude quickly. It's exhilarating. Then I'm looking down at the world from a few hundred feet up, sometimes more. Sometimes I know where I am and other times I don't have any idea where I am. This time I was flying above a familiar neighborhood, looking down at an area of the city with a lot of older homes. Then I started descending towards the houses near a hill with an outcrop. I curved up above a street and the next thing I knew I was inside someone's home. I seem to recall that I flew in through the open front door of a someone's house that was probably built in the 1930's. Slowing down almost to a stop, I floated there in the hallway and then into some of the rooms. Then as quickly as it started, it was over. Whoosh? Yes, coming back into my body happens very fast. Do you always feel the impact of reentering your body? Not always. So there you were, laying in your bed processing what had just happened? Exactly.
